CPL2 3V Cam Phaser Block Pair
The CPL2 is used to eliminate the knocking associated with the 3R2Z-6A257-DA Cam Phaser in 3 Valve 5.4 and 4.6 Engines. Cam Phasers on these type engines are know to suffer from wear and tear, due to movement within the phasers internal components, which may lead to failure of the phasers. The CPL2 fixes the position of the phaser and in doing so prevents movement and the associated knocking noise caused by this movement. Use CPL2 to extend the life of your Cam Phasers and prevent unnecessary costs in replacing them more often than you should.
Note: A tuner is required for use with these vct blocks. Also, the blocks will only work with Ford OEM phasers.
